About The Event

The largest IEEE event for students and young professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina is back! We are taking our talents to Banja Luka and are looking forward to three days of learning, networking and showcasing the vast talent we possess. Like last year, we are organizing the event under the brand of BH Engineering Weeks (notice the plural), because engineering and technical sciences is now even more recognized as great potential for work and developing Bosnia and Herzegovina. IEEE Innovation Nation is back after a one year break which means ideas and plenty of them will be present at the congress.

Every year our congress brings to Bosnia & Herzegovina amazing speakers from all over the world. We strive to connect the best of our diaspora as well as experts who want to help our youth kickstart their careers. BiH Engineering Weeks

In 2018, our Congress was the initiator of a larger brand that promotes engineering on a broader scale across the country,BH Engineering Week. This year, the team behind that brand has so many activities planned that a single week is simply not enough to implement them. Hence, it is now called BH Engineering Weeks! At this point, activities in 7 cities are planned in November and December. All of them aim to connect local and international experts and create a culture of success and cooperation. IEEE Innovation Nation

We are extatic to announce that IEEE Innovation Nation will again be a part of the Congress! Teams of students will take part in workshops that develop their entrepreneurial skills and guide them through the process of developing their idea into a business opportunity. During the Congress, they will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to potential local and international investors. Only the best will get a chance to continue working on their ideas with the IEEE and local incubators with the hope of achieving their dream – to become successful entrepreneurs!

IEEE Innovation Expo

Innovation Expo is a traditional IEEE Student and Young Professional Congress segment where engineering students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and interested Congress participants will be presenting their technical projects in front of the many visitors, investors, distinguished academics and industry experts in an open space. In this hour and a half-long session, the participants will have an exclusive opportunity to exchange ideas and get valuable insight for improving the quality of their projects. Make sure to visit the Innovation Expo for the chance to provide constructive feedback, network and get inspired. Registrations not required.
